Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Can you believe it's already Christmas? We blinked, and 2014 is already almost over. It's certainly been an eventful - but wonderful! - year for all of us at O'Donnell Law Center. We hope your year has been filled with warmth and joy!

Merry ChristmasWe all celebrate the holidays a little differently.  Despite individual differences, or perhaps because of them, this time of year is one for giving, for celebrating friends and family, and for enjoying all of the wonderful things this season, our community and our country has to offer and that we can offer back. All of us at our Lake of the Ozarks law firm want to take this opportunity to extend our warmest holiday wishes to you and your family.
Happy New YearAs 2014 draws to a close, we have the opportunity to look back on and evaluate our year. What went well? What can we improve upon next year? This is a time for reflection and appreciation of what has already happened, and anticipation and planning for what is yet to come.

When Should You Hire A Lawyer?

How do you know when to hire a lawyer and when to handle legal challenges yourself? Unless the legal issue you're facing is extremely minor (such as a small speeding ticket), hiring a professional attorney will almost always be the best option for helping you achieve favorable outcomes. As an experienced attorney at the Lake of the Ozarks, I can help you in a variety of different legal situations.

When You're Starting A New BusinessOne of the most important aspects of setting up a new business is choosing the correct entity.  Some entities make you personally liable for any problems your business may face down the road, whereas other types (such as Limited Liability Companies) can protect your personal assets from unforeseen business issues. A professional business attorney can help you evaluate the pros and cons of each option and determine which is the best one for your business.
