Get To Know the O’Donnell Law Center Staff

Our law center at the Lake of the Ozarks has many unique features that sets our firm apart from others in the area. But we have to mention our amazing staff as one of the great assets here at O’Donnell Law Center. We’re excited to feature our team members in our latest blog. Meet the team you’ll be working with, when you choose O’Donnell Law.

Regina Lynch, Paralegal

Regina was born in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated high school in 1980 with a certification in Graphic Art Design.  After graduating, she was employed at a construction equipment company for 14 years, and ended her career as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager to relocate to the lake area.  She and her husband, Bob, have lived here now for over 20 years.
After moving to the lake area, Regina worked as a Court Clerk and Deputy Village Clerk for a local municipality for several years. She enjoyed learning the different functions of small government and handling all the aspects of the court proceedings.
Over the past 12 years, much of her efforts have been dedicated to volunteering at the schools her two sons, Garrett and Tyler attend.  She has been active with many support organizations, and has served as PTA President, Secretary for the Fine Arts Booster Club, and chaired many committees.  One of my most memorable accomplishments has been the 6 years she assisted with the planning, decorating and hosting of an annual reward luncheon for upper elementary students who achieved their reading goal for the year.
Under the supervision of the Center’s attorney, Regina manages the estate planning and probate divisions, which includes simple Wills to complex Revocable Trusts, as well as guardianships and other probate matters.  She is dedicated to ensuring that the O’Donnell Law Center delivers quality, individualized legal assistance, and that our estate plans exemplify each client’s goals and wishes.

Andrea Harris, Office Manager

Andrea was born and raised in St. Louis County, and graduated high school in 1982.  She has an associate’s degree from St. Louis Community College, and live with her wonderful husband, Justus and son, Magnus.
She has a history of working with animals.  Andrea has volunteered at a veterinary clinic, worked with birds of prey and other wildlife and with animals in a domestic capacity.  She was a manager in a small facility at Washington University.  She also spent 12 years as a keeper at the St. Louis Zoo working mainly with hoof stock and birds.
After her son was born, she became a stay-at-home mom.  She’s always said it is the same job as a zookeeper - feed them, keep them healthy and safe and enrich them, but now it’s just with one species!
She enjoys researching genealogy. Andrea especially loves discovering that the historical facts do not concur with family stories! She and her husband like to travel but have a lot of pets and that makes it difficult. She also spends time tending to a small flock of chickens even though it includes sparring with the aggressive and protective “Captain Kirk”, her rooster.
Andrea re-entered the workforce by substitute teaching at her son’s school for a year and she enjoyed working with the children.  Then she was fortunate enough to join the team at the O’Donnell Law Center.
Under the supervision of the Center’s attorney, she manages the criminal division, which includes municipal, state and federal criminal matters, and the family law division, which includes adoptions, divorces and custody disputes.  Andrea also performs the duties of general office manager, which includes handling all appointment scheduling.  She is the voice at the other end of the phone when you call the Center.

Melinda Huddleston, Legal Assistant

Melinda was born in Fulton, Missouri and grew up in the small rural town of Auxvasse, Missouri. She began working for Sears & Roebuck immediately following graduation from high school in 1983. After meeting her husband, they married in 1985 and relocated to a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. They started a family early and raised two sons, Dustin and Jacob. She began a career in the dental field after graduating from Al-Med Academy as a certified Dental Assistant. She spent 12 years sitting chairside and working for two doctors, in the O'Fallon and Town and Country Missouri areas.
As her sons grew and became more involved in sports and school activities, she made the decision to become a stay at home mom, and enjoyed every moment I could with volunteering, chairing school activities, and driving carloads of boys to games and practices. Whew, what a busy and wonderful time!
After her children began their college years, Melinda once again returned to the work force part-time and enjoyed a few different jobs including acquiring her Real-estate license. It was shorty following this point that her husband's corporate job began to relocate them to many new cities. They lived in Clearwater, FL, Tallahassee, FL, New Mexico and Phoenix, AZ areas before returning to Kansas City, Missouri. It was there that she and her children lost her husband of 33 years unexpectedly to illness and she made the decision to move to Lake Ozark to be near her children, family and friends.
This move and relocation brought her to the O'Donnell Law Center where she began working in December of 2018 as the office legal assistant. Under the supervision of the Center's attorney, she works closely with all members of our wonderful and knowledgeable staff in all divisions of our office's expertise. Those include, our family law division, criminal law, state and federal, estate planning and probate. Melinda has learned so much from this team of professionals and she’s eager to continue contributing to the success of our office and clients.

Now that you’ve gotten to know our team members, you can feel more comfortable as you enter into our law center at the Lake of the Ozarks. Having a familiar face greet you may help ease your nerves as you prepare to discuss your legal needs. Our staff is all very understanding and eager to help with your unique situation.
