Upcoming Events You Won’t Want to Miss
Spring will be here before we know it and it’s time to start gearing up for some late-winter and early-spring events at the Lake of the Ozarks! Our area has a number of events throughout the year. That means there’s tons of opportunities to get out and get more involved in the community. Our Lake of the Ozarks law center is here to help point out some of the exciting upcoming events you and your crew can enjoy.
Lake of the Ozarks State Park PB #2
This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by plunging into the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri. SOMO exists to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our athletes need you to get involved. Participants must be at least 10 years old and raise a minimum of $75 by event day. The Polar Plunge is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run(R) for Special Olympics Missouri. Osage Beach PD is proud to host this event.
RedHead LakeSide Grille
Come out and join us for some brick oven pizza and beverages, as well as mingle to learn more about Children's Learning Center, a not-for-profit that is doing great things for young children with & without special needs in our community! There will be a HUGE silent auction, prizes and lots of fun! Tickets are $10 in advance prior to March 1 or $15 after that or at the door and includes all you can eat pizza!
Main Street Music Hall
Lake of the Ozarks welcomes back the Grammy nominated Liverpool Legends, the ultimate Beatles experience. Liverpool Legends perform songs spanning the entire career of The Beatles and on through the solo years. With precise attention to every musical detail, along with costume changes, vintage instruments, and special effects, Liverpool Legends will make you feel like you are watching the real thing! Together, these four lads will bring you "The Complete Beatles Experience."
Bagnell Dam Strip
Join in the fun of an old fashioned parade with floats, marching bands and candy and goodies for the young and young at heart. Many of the local restaurants along the strip will be offering specials and corned beef and cabbage feasts.
Inn at Grand Glaize
QuarterMania is a fundraiser for the Heart of the Ozarks Professional & Business Women. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the auction starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and includes an appetizer buffet and a paddle for access to bidding in the quarter auction. More than 100 items are expected to be up for grabs from golf packages to gift baskets and certificates to Lake area businesses.
