Thanksgiving is a unique and special holiday that is near and dear to our hearts. Family and friends come together during this time to give thanks for all of the many blessings we have received throughout the year. It’s a time where we can take a step back from our busy lives and think about what we are truly thankful for. O’Donnell Law Center would like to thank all of our clients and friends for their support and we are thankful for the community we are able to serve. To get us into the Thanksgiving spirit, here are some fun facts about this delicious holiday. The first Thanksgiving was 3 days long. This is a change from our Thanksgiving today which only lasts a day. Governor William Bradford had organized the Thanksgiving feast and invited the Plymouth colonists’ Native American allies. This is a time for a reflection - a time to recognize all of the great things in our lives and to be grateful for their presence. We all lead wonderfully diverse lives, and the many different things we are grateful for reflects that. Some people are thankful for their jobs, others are thankful for their food, and others are thankful for their children. A long time ago, founding attorney Deirdre O'Donnell envisioned a law practice at the Lake of the Ozarks that could perfectly fit the needs of each of its clients. A law practice that could meet each individual client on his or her level and be able to represent them exactly as they needed.
