Summer Events at the Lake of the Ozarks

The sun is shining and the unofficial kick off to summer was last weekend. Being a popular destination for vacationers, the Lake of the Ozarks area has a number of events planned for the summer. Our Lake of the Ozarks law center has featured some of the most highly anticipated events of the summer below.

Lake Race 2019

Lake Race is one of the most thrilling racing events at the Lake of the Ozarks. The fastest boats on water will be taking to the water to duke it out to see who can cross the finish line first. It’s an exiting event for all ages to enjoy.

Lake Area Community Orchestra at Ha Ha Tonka State Park

The Lake Area Community Orchestra will again be staging one of its free Summer Concerts at Ha Ha Tonka State Park on Tuesday, June 4, beginning at 7:00 pm. Community members and visitors are cordially invited.

How far and high can your dog jump? The annual Dock Dogs jumping contest is held at Dog Days again this year. Canine athletes compete in Big Air, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve at this family friendly event.

Missouri Symphony Orchestra Concert

The Lake Arts Council is proud to bring the Missouri Symphony Orchestra back to the Lake area this year for another concert as part of their Hot Summer Nights Series presenting a "Strike Up The Band" performance at the Ozarks Amphitheater in Camdenton, MO, on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.

Hot Summer Nights

Bagnell Dam Strip
Hot Summer Nights, a classic vehicle cruise and family night on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark. 6:00 - 11:00 pm (rain or shine). Free admission and participation. All makes and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles will line the Strip and cruise around. This kid friendly event offers games, activities, live entertainment and more.


Aquapalooza 2019

The Lake's Largest FAMILY Boating event will be held July 20th. The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers invites ALL BOATERS to join them for a great day on the water. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long. On the Water Party at Dog Days Restaurant at the 19mm, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge.

31st Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

Aug 24, 2019 - Aug 25, 2019
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, held at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill and the 33MM-34.5MM, will bring top powerboat racers and off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping 200 MPH. The largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Area Rescue Teams, and other charitable organizations!
